Readers Choice

Nine days from now I will be publishing the first novel of the Cursed Heart Series. After that I am set to return to work on the next Pyte/Sentinel novel. The next Neighbor from Hell Novel was set to come out after that, but…….

I want to request a change up.

As some of you know, I’ve been toying with the Anger Management series for a while now. The first book was set to come out after the next NFH book, because I promised everyone the next Pyte/Sentinel and NFH book and I like to keep my promises.

Here’s my problem, the first Anger Management book will not stop playing out in my head. I am not kidding. I can see the characters clearly, they’re in my head but they are well developed. The storyline is pretty much set and the lead male is easily a hundred times more arrogant than a Bradford and hotter (my opinion, lol).

In case you haven’t guessed, I really want to write this story after the Pyte/Sentinel novel. I love this book, the characters, etc, but I made a promise and I am fully prepared to see it through and deliver the next NFH novel on time.

The choice is yours. I am going to do a poll on my FB page for this. Your vote will decide which book I work on next.

Thank you,

As I understand it, you wonderful creative writer, you do not choose the stories or characters they choose you! Any story you have written has been great! If you try and keep a promise where your heart and head are not into the story the story will not be your best and I would hate for you to sped through a story just to get to another! Write what is in your heart and head! We will all love it!

  2. Avatar Tina says:

I think you should do the anger management novel next if it is speaking that loudly and consistently to you. I will read whatever you put out in whatever order you want. 🙂

  3. Avatar Donna Ebinezar says:

Yes, yes I say yes! Do the cursed heart, the Pyte, the anger management and then the NFH book, but please please do them quickly R.L 🙂

i don’t care as long as there are new books… already reread the others like 50560625023056 times… and i mean ALL of them…

  5. Avatar Laura says:

I say go with your heart ( or your head, since thats where the characters reside)! I love everything you have written, and a change up in order will not stop me from reading all your work!

  6. Avatar Sarah C. says:

I love all your books so whatever you choose I am ok with. I would hate for you to loose or neglect all the good Anger Management vibes you got going on in your head. I trust you as an author to make the right call, I can’t wait either way.

  7. Avatar Debra says:

omg as much as I want the next NFH (LOVE THOSE BRADFORDS) you must let the creative juices flow…and if that means a delay…then go for it. A new series to start is ALWAYS intriguing! for both Author and readers!

  8. Avatar Jennifer says:

Pyte/Sentinel first then NFH4 please I feel like i have been waiting forever!!!But at the same time I LOVE ALL YOUR BOOKS!!!
    So just hurry up please:D!!!!

  9. Avatar Jennifer says:

God I wish u wrote a book every two days so once I finish reading one I can start on the next one!!!!

  10. Avatar CNFrea says:

Whatever you write, WHENEVER you write it, I’ll read it, so go with what works best for you, and keep up the good work!

  11. Avatar Kristen Hopkins says:

I too love all your books so either one is fine for me. I would like to see a new series first anyway. NFH books are great but always nice to read something new!

  12. Avatar Dannell says:

While I am extremely excited about the next NFH, if you have your heart and mind on a different story line I say run with it. I am excited to see what you have in store for us, no matter which one you choose.

  13. Avatar danielle says:

Gotta say I’m really gagging for the next pyte/sentinel novel so anything after that (be it anger management or NFH) is a bonus just please, please, pleasssssssse don’t space them to far apart 🙂

I love all your books! they make me laugh so much so I don’t mind which one you write first as long as I can read them soon! 😉 I really can’t wait for your next book!
    Good luck with everything!

  15. Avatar Tina G says:

I say write the book that you’re passionate about right now and then write the next NFH book! You’re a crazy fast writer, so a few more months won’t matter. 🙂

  16. Avatar phyllis says:

Please release the Pyte book first. Dying for anything new, but love Pyte Series..
Very excited to get your new book June 22nd!

  17. Avatar Brittenee says:

Write anyone you want just do it as fast as you can please! I need another book like I need my next chocolate bar! I can not wait for the cursed heart series to come out I love all of your books you are such an amazing writer!! Do what you think is best you have everyone’s support no matter what you decide!

  18. Avatar De says:

You have to go with what’s playing in your head. If you try to force yourself to do the Pyte and NFH when you have a split focus, it will come through in what you create.
I cannot wait to see what see what’s next, no matter the series.
    Happy writing!

Can’t wait to read the first Cursed book but I would love the next Pyte after that the order you write on up to you.

  20. Avatar amanda says:

I love all of your books and I can’t wait for the first cursed hearts book. I’ll read whatever you put out first.

  21. Avatar amanda says:

I love all of your books and I can’t wait for the first cursed hearts book. As long as they keep coming, I’ll read whatever you put out first.

  22. Avatar Madeleine says:

You should go with the book you want to write, if only from an artistic perspective. Your heart is clearly more into the Anger Management one, and I can’t believe that won’t be reflected in the writing. If you write a book, because you feel that you SHOULD, the end result will probably be writer’s block.

It’s clear that you feel guilty, because you like to be reliable, but you can’t help the way your interest is leading you. Inspiration can’t just be switched on and off. And in fairness, by giving clear updates on your work, you are being reliable anyway, so you really shouldn’t worry.

It’s also obvious that your readers aren’t going to hold a grudge 🙂

  23. Avatar theresa says:

I agree with the others. After the next Pyte book go with the Anger Management book. I would hate for the next NFH book to not be up to par because you can’t get the Anger management story out of your head.

  24. Avatar Jean Ann Phillips says:

I would read anything that you write – new series or old! What ever you choose I’m sure will be awesome! 🙂

  25. Avatar Natalie Turton says:

I am really excited about the anger management series you have been thinking about, I hope you choose to do it after the next pyte book.

P.S never been so desperate for a book as I am for the next pyte installment, no pressure 😉

Hi R.L i know every one said it but obviously major fan!
I’m 18 and love romance books and felt i was rapidly slipping into a deep depression from the lack of quality books (first world problems) until i came across your novels! Ive just read all your pyte books in about 3 days so bloody awesome! i literally did not go to sleep on night because i refused to put down the last pyte book! My dad walked in last night and actually confiscated my phone telling me he was sick of all the reading (i am a terrible kid obviously). Anyway just wanted to thank you heaps for the books and yea i think its a good idea to release the cursed heart book then pyte then anger management then NFH, i don’t even care as long as i get to keep reading them.

  27. Avatar Angela says:

I really enjoyed reading all your books! You are a great writer and your characters…AMAZING! I would be happy to read anything more you write but must admit I am curious about how the lead male in Anger Management could be hotter than a Bradford 🙂

  28. Avatar Jane K says:

You must follow where the characters take you. Anger Management sounds like a straight romance, as apposed to a Pyte style book?? I’m so dying for more Bratfords, but Anger Management could be the appetizer??? Love you writing, so for your health problems.

  29. Avatar Gabby says:

Ahhhhh I love your books!! I’m in countdown mode till your next book! Just finished black heart!! Loved it! Do whatever you want I’m just so excited for another book of yours!

  30. Avatar Rachel B says:

I have quickly become a fan of yours. After devouring Christian Grey and Gideon Cross I needed a fix. I have read Kristen Proby, Ella Fox and many others… You are by far one of my favorite authors to date.
I have read everything you have available for Kindle except the EMS book. I am excited and can’t wait to read the next of the series for Hollywood hearts, Pyte/Sentinel novels as well as the Neighbor from hell series!
Thank you for being so easily accessible 🙂 I have passed you on to many friends and hope they enjoy you as I have.

  31. Avatar peil says:

Any novel you write is awsome, funny, hasa real heart that anyone can relate too… I am so looking forward to the next Pyte novel on the edge of my seat waiting LOL!!! But again any one would be great… I know that each one is a extreme amount of work and very taxing but it is so worth it in the end I am sure!!! You have many fans and I for one have bought every book that has been published so I am happily waiting for more!!! Blessed be!! 🙂

  32. Avatar Jana says:

Go with your heart! Everything you write is great. NFH and Pyte/Sentinel series are so much fun to read. We will be here waiting no matter what you decide. Cannot WAIT for Kale Quinn’s story; I’m secretly in love with him. Your fans love you, RL!!!!
