This is a recipe for the yummiest lemonade you will ever have. This is so good that my kids call it “Mamamade” while they call all other lemonade simply lemonade. The key is to let it chill at least for six hours, but I prefer to do it overnight.
To make it really delicious, add a couple of tablespoonful of slightly smashed strawberries, a slice of lemon and some ice to your glass of lemonade. So good….. Ingredients:
12 Cups of water 2 3/4 Cups of Sugar 2 1/4 Cups lemon juice
Needed: 1 Gallon size pitcher 1 liquid measuring cup 1 dry measuring cup 1 sauce pan
In Sauce pan:
Measure 1 cup of water and pour into sauce pan. Place pan on low-medium heat.
Measure and pour sugar into pan.
Gently mix, heat until boiling and the mixture becomes syrupy.
Put aside and allow to cool for a few minutes.
In large picture:
Pour the lemon juice into the large container.
Pour the remaining 11 cups of water into the container.
Pour the cooled syrup into the container and mix.
Place into the fridge and let chill. Best results chill for six hours.
