My apologies!
I hurt my hand yesterday and I’ve been taking it easy today. I will get the Chronicle out as soon as possible!

Three posts in one day? Really? Yeah, I know, I know, it’s been a crazy day, but I wanted to come on here and thank everyone for their kindness and help today, Everyone was amazing. I asked readers, with a giveaway incentive, if they had some time if they could leave an honest review and vote for the review that they felt was the most helpful whether it was a one star or a five star. Their votes pushed the most helpful reviews up and I devoured them. I also got to stalk reviewers and bug the heck out of them with questions 🙂 Thanks to readers giving up some time today and helping me out, I was able to →

Please don’t beat me!
I’m sorry. The Chronicle is going to be late again. I have it halfway done, but I am sitting here burning up, dealing with a headache and praying the kids will be kind and knock me out. I haven’t been feeling good all weekend and should have started to write this one sooner. I keep screwing this up and will try to do better. The second part of School Shopping is started, but there isn’t enough to post.
So, I am going to share an excerpt from The Promise along with an apology. I was also planning on coming on here today and re-posting the hot cocoa recipes for a few readers. That will also be put up later this week when the thought of hot cocoa doesn’t turn my stomach.

“Put your shoulder into it!”
The harsh demand slowly brought Sam back to consciousness. She cringed as throbbing pain shot through her head. Keeping her eyes closed, she slowly took several deep breaths as she fought against the nausea that was threatening to take over. When that didn’t work she carefully turned her head so that the throbbing part of her skull was pressed against the cool smooth stone.
She lay there for several long minutes as she waited for the throbbing pain to ease. When she tried to move it was only to find her hands and legs bound. It took a minute before it all came back to her.
Her eyes flew open to find a young man with sandy brown hair kneeling in front of her. She had to squint against the bright ceiling light above her head, letting her know that someone had switched the fuses and got the power back on.
“She’s awake, Richard,” the man announced, looking over his shoulder at the red headed man who was now shirtless and covered in white dust.
I’ll be skipping this week’s Chronicle since I caught my son’s man flu 🙁
I’ve been sick all week and it just seems to be getting worse. My apologies and I will do my best to make it up to you next week.

The release for Delectable is actually August 1st of this year, not next year. I’m sorry!!!
I need to delay the Chronicle for one day. Apparently the children are very demanding 🙁
Fire and Brimstone is now available everywhere for purchase. It took a little work to get it done, but it’s finally up at iBooks, Barnes & Noble, Amazon and many other amazing online book stores.

Due to an epic battle of tattling between my children, no sleep thanks to my dog and just pure exhaustion, I need to take a day for myself. I will get the next Chronicle up tomorrow. I’m sorry about the delay, but honestly, my nerves can’t take anymore today. R.L.
