Coming this Fall…
How far would you go to keep a promise?
Reed Bradford never should have made that promise.
He’d barely survived the first time around, but now she was back, his best friend’s little sister, his one-time neighbor, and the woman that he never should have promised to protect. He never should have done a lot of things, like cross that line, but once he did…
There was no turning back.
Joey Lawson always had a plan, but unfortunately, mostly for her, sometimes those plans backfired. On her. This time would be no different. After the unfortunate incident that she felt was better not to think about, she found herself doing the one thing that she’d never survive.
Falling in love with a Bradford.
“So, where should we start?” Sara asked as they stood there, holding the rusty hammers that she’d managed to find yesterday when she’d rummaged through the garage looking for anything that they could use today.
“The cabinets?” she suggested, because they seemed like the easiest place to start.
“Sounds good,” Sara said, nodding as she pulled her sunglasses on and raised her hammer, clearly ready to commence with the destruction of Kasey’s ugly kitchen only to hesitate. “Maybe we should empty them first?”
“That’s probably a good idea,” Kasey agreed, chewing on her bottom lip as she glanced from the top cabinets filled with dishes and bowls to the kitchen sink.
Since she kept her cleaning supplies in the small “pantry” the small cabinet beneath the sink was empty. Deciding that was the place to start, she gestured towards the sink. “That’s empty.”
Nodding, Sara said, “The sink it is.”
And with that the two of them took up positions in front of the sink, assumed positions of destruction, and with a nod, they both swung. Sara’s swing resulted in the rusty hammer breaking in two upon impact and Kasey’s wild swing-
-resulted in something really bad happening.
Aidan’s book…. Expected: Unknown Excerpt: “Well?” the man that had somehow charmed her into taking a bath with him with weird and somewhat disturbing trivia asked as he wrapped his arms around her and placed his hands on her belly. “Well, what?” she murmured, somewhat distracted by just how incredibly comfortable she was. After spending the last few months struggling to get comfortable, she was in heaven. It only confirmed her earlier suspicions that she was a snuggle slut, but at the moment, she simply didn’t care. She never wanted to leave this tub, she thought with a sigh as she shifted to get more comfortable, murmuring a, “Thank you,” when Aidan adjusted her tee shirt to keep her covered. →
The 2016 R.L. Mathewson Chronicle collection with bonus material that wasn’t originally published online.
2016 was an interesting year, a very busy year, as well as one where I didn’t get the chance to do everything that I wanted with the Chronicles. I wanted to continue several of the Chronicle series as well as add a few for special occasions so that is where this year’s edition to the Chronicle series comes in.
What happens when a Bradford with questionable OCD, a tempter and a reputation for making his employees cry falls for the woman that refuses to accept the fact that he’s fired her and was terrifyingly more of a Bradford than he was?
Well, we can’t share that here, because it would be seriously inappropriate, but we’re sure that you can see where this is leading…
To the altar or a stint in the slammer, either one is possible when it comes to the Neighbor from Hell Series.
